Good Oral Hygiene
Plaque and calculus contain bacteria that are harmful to your health.These bacteria can cause cavities, gums disease and bad breath.
To maintain good oral health you should:
- Brush your teeth and your tongue at least twice a day: once after breakfast and once before bedtime
- Floss at least once a day
- Use a mouthwash daily
How to brush properly:
Place your toothbrush at a 45 degree angle to your gums and brush gently in circular motion using a soft toothbrush.Don’t forget to brush your tongue as well.
How to floss properly
Visit your dentist every 6 months for a professional cleaning. Your dentist might recommend a cleaning every 3-4 months if you had a deep cleaning done in the past.
